In honour of Pierre-Yves Guinard

Pierre-Yves Guinard
1967 - 2024

We regret to inform you of the passing of Pierre-Yves Guinard, who left us peacefully on November 3rd, at the age of 57, surrounded by his family at Montreal's Santa-Cabrini Hospital, following a courageous battle with cancer. He was the son of France Cimon and Yves Guinard. In addition to his father, he is survived by his two beloved daughters Juliette and Béatrice, his sisters Marie-France and Isabelle (Christer Lundmark), his daughters Hélène Belley, his father's wife Denise Lamoureux, many aunts and uncles, cousins, nephews and nieces, and his many friends and colleagues at FNX-INNOV. He will be remembered as a kind, quick-witted man of great curiosity, devoted to his children and family, and always in good spirits.

Last respects will be paid on Saturday, December 7th, from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m., at the Château Ramezay, 280 Notre-Dame Street East, Montreal. You can also honour his memory by making a donation in his name at the Château Ramezay chateauramezay.qc.ca. The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to the dedicated staff of the Santa-Cabrini Hospital Palliative Care Unit for all the care they provided in his final moments.

If you have made a donation in Mr. Guinard's honour, please send an e-mail to Isabelle Cunin (icunin@chateauramezay.qc.ca) so that she may take note of it.
